In 2023, Quicken marked 40 years of personal finance management with a visual rebrand. I was brought on to translate the new visual direction into motion and video — animating the updated logo, creating modernized explainer videos, and editing the above rebrand video.

Quicken Classic needed a modernized explainer video to showcase its product features. The UI draws from some features and visualizations true-to-product, but animations and layouts were designed solely for the purpose of the explainer video.

Made using Cinema 4D, After Effects, Adobe Illustrator.

Quicken Simplifi needed new videos for the App Store and Google Play store. A total of 11 deliverables were made, with varying sizes and horizontal, vertical, square, as well as the separate iPhone or Android versions.

It was a lot of fun coming up with ways to morph between the old and new logos and help tell a quick story of Quicken’s visual rebranding.
